San Diego Border Roleplay Mobile Controls
Mobile players join San Diego Border Roleplay through the Roblox app on iOS and Android. Touch controls replace keyboard and mouse, with on-screen buttons for movement, camera, interaction, and vehicle operation.
Default Touch Layout
The virtual joystick on the left side of the screen controls character movement. Drag your thumb to walk or run your character toward spawn points, checkpoint queues, and interaction zones. The jump button appears near the joystick when applicable.
Camera control uses drag gestures on the right side of the screen — swipe to look around and aim your view toward vehicles, agents, and checkpoint landmarks. Pinch or use on-screen zoom controls if available.
Interaction Buttons
Context-sensitive action buttons appear when you approach interactable objects — vehicles, menus, job boards, and checkpoint equipment. Tap the action button to enter vehicles, confirm spawns, or activate tools. The button label changes based on context (Enter Vehicle, Interact, etc.).
The tool and inventory buttons typically appear in the lower-right area. Tap to cycle tools or open the backpack overlay for item management. Border Patrol agents on mobile should pre-select frequently used tools before heading to the checkpoint to minimize fumbling.
Mobile Driving Tips
Driving at the checkpoint on mobile requires smoother joystick input than keyboard controls. Approach the inspection point slowly and release the joystick completely to stop — partial joystick drift causes accidental lane violations.
Consider connecting a Bluetooth controller for better vehicle precision during complex scenarios like chases or tight checkpoint queues. Mobile touch works for casual roleplay, but controllers improve the experience significantly.
